Basilicata[1][2] (-ae, f.) sive Acherontia[3] est regio administrativa Italiae, circiter 578.391[4] incolarum, in Italia meridiana sita, cuius caput est Potentia. Lingua Italiana haec regio annis 1932-1947 Lucania[3][5] appellabatur sed ante eos annos et recentius Basilicata.
