Apostolus (Graece ἀπόστολος 'ille qui est dimissus'[1]) est nuntius vel legatus. Propositum talis dimittendi est nuntia proferre, et inde per verbum "nuntius" alia translatione solet.[1] Vox adhiberi potest in contextibus variis metaphorice potest, sed plerumque sectatoribus pristinis auctoris religionis quae momentorum sunt in dispergendo doctrinarum eius.
