Antibiotica beta-lactamo est grex antibioticorum cum anulo chemico lactamo ex quattuor atomis compositus. Includit derivata chemica penicillinorum, ac cephalosporina, monobactama, carbapenema, carbacephema.

Antibioticis beta-lactamo anulus chemicus ß-lactami inest. Anulo substantiae heterocyclicae membra modo quattuor (trium carbonii C, unius nitrogeni N) et grex chemicus carbonyli (vinculo duplici inter C et O: C=O) sunt.
