금조류(琴鳥類, lyrebird)는 오스트레일리아 남부에 사는 참새목의 한 부류로, 주변의 소리를 잘 따라한다. 거문고새라고도 한다. 이 부류에는 두 종이 있는데, 그 중 큰거문고새(Menura novaehollandiae)는 참새목 중 세 번째로 큰 종이며, 호주의 10센트 동전에도 새겨져 있다.
다음은 2019년 올리버로스(Oliveros) 등의 연구에 의한 명금류의 계통 분류이다.[1]
