トマス・ネーゲル(Thomas Nagel、1937年7月4日 - )は、アメリカ合衆国の哲学者。専門は、政治哲学・倫理学・心の哲学・認識論など。
ユーゴスラビアのベオグラードで1937年に生まれた。両親はユダヤ系ドイツ人で亡命中だった。一家は1939年にアメリカ合衆国に到着した[1]。
コーネル大学(1954年 - 1958年)、オックスフォード大学のコーパス・クリスティ・カレッジ(1958年 - 1960年)を経て、1963年にハーヴァード大学で博士号を取得。その後、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校助教授(1963年 - 1966年)、プリンストン大学助教授(1966年 - 1969年)、同準教授(1969年 - 1972年)、同教授(1972年 - 1980年)を経て、1980年よりニューヨーク大学教授の地位にある。1980年にはアメリカ学士院会員に選ばれており、また1990年にはオックスフォード大学「ジョン・ロック講義」の講師に招かれている。
