Babak ini menampilkan balapan pertama MotoE. Kelas ini awalnya dimaksudkan untuk membuat debutnya di Jerez, tetapi kebakaran di paddock selama pengujian pramusim menghancurkan semua 18 sepeda yang disiapkan dan putaran Jerez dibatalkan bersama dengan putaran Le Mans. Semua tim di kelas MotoE menggunakan Energica Ego Corsa.
