Ramana Maharshi (30 December 1879 - 14 April 1950), India ke ek Hindu sant (sage)[1] aur jivanmukta (liberated being)[2] rahaa. Uske janam ke naam Venkataraman Iyer rahaa, lekin uske jaada kar ke Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi rahaa.[3]

Uske janam Tamil Nadu me bhais rahaa aur 16 saal ke umar me uu maut ke anbaho karis, jisme uu batais ke uu Bhagwaan ke haajri ke anbhao karis rahaa.[4][5] Iske baan uu aapan ghar chhorr ke pahaarr me rahe lagaa aur snayasi ban gais.
Log uske bhakt bane lagin aur use Shiva ke avatar maanat rahin aur uske darshan ke khaatir aae lagin. Baad me uske ashram aur barraa hoe gais aur log ke usse updesh milaa. [6] 1930s se uske updesh Western des me mashuur hoe gais hae. [7]
