Laurence John Fishburne III,[1] nado en Augusta (Xeorxia) o 30 de xullo de 1961, é un actor, produtor e director estadounidense de cine e televisión. É principalmente coñecido polo seu papel de Morpheus na triloxía de Matrix, por interpretar a Jason "Furious" Styles no drama Boyz n the Hood e a Tyrone "Mr. Clean" Miller en Apocalypse Now.
Fishburne foi o primeiro actor afroamericano en interpretar a Othello nun filme dun grande estudio cando apareceu na adaptación de 1995 de Oliver Parker.
