O Centro Acuático Nacional é un pavillón deportivo en Pequín (China) onde se celebraron as competicións de natación, natación sincronizada e saltos dos Xogos Olímpicos de 2008.

Consta de dúas piscinas, unha para as probas de natación e outra para as de saltos. Ten unha capacidade de 6.000 asentos permanentes, que se poden ampliar ata 11.000 en grandes acontecementos deportivos.
Polo seu deseño aseméllase a un enorme cubo de xeo, polo que é coñecido como Cubo de auga, ou abreviadamente [H2O]3.[1]
Atópase no Parque Olímpico, distrito de Chaoyang, ao norte da capital chinesa, a poucos metros do Estadio Nacional.
O Cubo de auga foi deseñado pola firma australiana Arquitectos PTW Architects[2], CSCEC International Design & Arup con Structural Engineers Arup que se encargaron da estrutura. A estrutura foi construída por CSCEC (China State Construction Engineering Corporation). Comprendendo un marco espacial de aceiro, esta é a maior estrutura ETFE recuberta do mundo con máis de 100.000 m² de coxíns ETFE que só teñen un grosor dun oito por mil de polgada en total,[3] o revestimento ETFE permite máis entrada de luz e maior calor có cristal tradicional, causando unha diminución do 30% en gastos de enerxía[3].
A parede externa está baseada na estrutura de Weaire-Phelan, unha escuma (a estrutura está inspirada nas burbullas de jabón).[4] O modelo está nun corte da escuma, e foi escollida antes cá escuma de Kelvin porque a estrutura de Weaire-Phelan resulta máis complexa debido a ser un modelo máis irregular.[5]
