Gramat on kunta Lounais-Ranskassa Lotin departementissa Occitanien alueella. Se sijaitsee Alzoujoen varrella, noin 38 kilometriä Gourdonin kaupungista itään.

Kaupunki sijaitsee strategisesti tärkeällä paikalla vanhojen roomalaisten teiden risteyksessä. Sijainti on johtanut myös useisiin valloituksiin ja ryöstöretkiin. 700-luvulla kaupunkiin hyökkäsivät arabit, ja sen jälkeen 800- ja 1000-luvuilla normannit. Satavuotisessa sodassa (1337-1453) kaupunki tuhoutui jälleen. 1300-luvun lopulla asukkaita oli vain 7 henkilöä. 1500-luvulla Ranskan uskonsodissa aikana Gramat oli jälleen ryöstöjen kohteena, vuorotellen katolilaisten ja protestanttien tekemänä.[2]
Kaupungin keskustassa oleva Pyhän Pietarin kirkko on valmistunut vuonna 1925. Vanha kirkko, jota ei enää ole olemassa, sijaitsi keskustan ulkopuolella. Vanhaan Pyhän Pietarin kirkkoon tehtiin vuonna 1853 urut, jotka kuuluvat historiallisten monumenttien luetteloon. Urut siirrettiin uuteen kirkkoon sen valmistuttua.[3] [4]
