Strustajärveen laskee useita pieniä virtoja Snudy-, Boloiso- ja Jelnojärvistä. Siitä laskee pieni joki Voisojärveen. Järvessä esiintyy ainakin 22 kalalajia, muiden muassa muikkua.

Järven keskellä on Čajčinin saari, jonka pinta-ala on 1,6 km². Se on Valko-Venäjän toiseksi suurin saari.[2]
