عامل تحرک اتوکرین یک پروتئین تحریککنندهٔ جابجایی تومور است که توسط سلولهای تومور ترشح میشود و در بروز متاستازهای سرطانی نقش دارد.[6] گیرندهٔ این پروتئین شباهتهایی از لحاظ توالی ژنی به پروتئین p53 دارد و در پخش شدن تومور مؤثر است.[5]
