Peter "Pete" Seeger (New York, Ameriketako Estatu Batuak, 1919ko maiatzaren 3a - 2014ko urtarrilaren 27a) ingelesezko kantaria eta musikagilea izan zen, folk musikako aitzindaria. The Almanach Singers taldearekin hasi zen kantuan, Woody Guthrie eta Lee Haysekin batera. 1949-1959 urteetan, The Weavers taldearekin aritu zen, eta, gero, bakarlari gisa. Folk musikatik abiatuta, konpromiso politikoan oinarritutako musika egin zuen. 1960ko hamarralditik aurrera eragin handia izan zuen herri-musika egiten zuten kantariengan. Kantu aipagarriak ditu, besteak beste: Where Have All the Flowers gone?, If I Had a Hammer, We Shall Overcome, Kisses Sweeter than Wine eta Turn, Turn, Turn.[1]
