Kühnerti aed oli haljasala Tallinnas 19. sajandil ja 20. sajandil, Tatari ja Sakala tänava ning Pärnu maantee nurgal. Kunstaia rajas Tallinna metsaülem Wilhelm Kühnert (1819–1891).
Wilhelm Kühnert omandas kinnistu 1862. aastal ja 1880ndaks aastaks rajas aia, mis oli jagatud nii otstarbe (majandushoov, köögiviljaala, viljapuude ala, puukool koos võõrliikide kohanemise katseaiaga ja arboreetumiga), kui ka puude (okaspuud, pärnad) ja põõsaste (ebajasmiinid, sirelid, roosid) rühmitamise alusel. Aia loodeosa oli kujundatud korrapärases Prantsuse stiili meenutavas stiilis ning aia kagupoolne kolmandik oli jaotatud geograafilisel põhimõttel, kus kasvasid eri piirkondadele omased puittaimed.
Kunstaias oli palju viljapuid ja osa neist olid ka väga haruldased.
Kühnertite aed Tallinnas oli tol ajal tuntumaid aedu, kus kasvatati mitut liiki ilupuid. 1913. aastal otsustati tollast Ahju tänavat pikendada ja E. Kühnertilt osteti seks puhuks osa aiast 7909 rubla ja 75 kopika eest. Ernst istutas hõlmikpuu ümber tema praegusse asukohta Vana-Pärnu maantee ja P. Süda tänava nurgal 1913. aastal.
Pärast Wilhelm Kühnerti surma 1891. aastal hoolitsesid aia eest tema poeg Constantin Herman Heinrich Kühnert ja pojapoeg arhitekt Ernst Gustav Kühnert. 1940. aastal lahkusid Kühnertid Eestist.
Tänapäeval on aiast säilinud ligi 30 erinevat nimetust puid ja põõsaid.
