Hermann Joseph Muller (21. detsember 1890 – 5. aprill 1967) oli Ameerika Ühendriikide geneetik.

Muller õppis Columbia Ülikoolis bioloogiat ja lõpetas selle 1910. aastal.
1914. aastal asus ta tööle hiljuti asutatud William Rice'i Instituudis (tänapäeva Rice'i ülikool). Aastatel 1920–1932 töötas Texase Ülikoolis. 1932. aastal kolis ta Berliini ja seejärel töötas Nõukogude Liidus. 1940. aastal naasis ta Ameerika Ühendriikidesse ja töötas Amhersti Kolledžis. Muller osales ka Manhattani projektis, kuid ei teadnud selle eesmärki.
1926. aastal avastas Muller, et radioaktiivsus põhjustab bioloogilistes organismides surmavaid mutatsioone ja hakkas 1928. aastal tegema teavitustööd radioaktiivsuse ohtlikkusest. 1946. aastal sai ta Nobeli meditsiiniauhinna radioaktiivsuse põhjustatud mutatsioonide avastamise eest.[1] Kuna ta sai auhinna aasta pärast tuumarelva kasutamist Hiroshimas ja Nagasakis, tõi see rohkem tähelepanu radiatsiooni ohtlikkusele ja avalikkus hakkas radioaktiivsuse ohte paremini teadvustama.[2]
