Cognate with Old Persian ๐Žด๐Žก๐Žฑ๐Žก๐๐Žซ๐Ž  (n-i-p-i-ลก-t-a /โ nipiลกtฤโ /), Avestan ๐ฌž๐ฌ€๐ฌ‰๐ฌฏ (paฤ“s), and Sanskrit เคชเฅ‡เคถเฅ (peล›, โ€œto adornโ€).
