Borrowed from Gujarati સૌરાષ્ટ્ર (saurāṣṭra) or its etymon Sanskrit सौराष्ट्र (saurāṣṭra), vriddhi form of सुराष्ट्र (surāṣṭra), from सु- (su-, good) + राष्ट्र (rāṣṭra, realm, dominion).
