Belgium (usually uncountable, plural Belgiums)
- A country in Western Europe that has borders with the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. Official name: Kingdom of Belgium. Capital and largest city: Brussels.
Usage notes
When describing the country's monarch, he or she should not be called "King (or Queen) of Belgium", but "King (or Queen) of the Belgians".
