Patushay

Patushay (پوتشے), alternatively known as Potshai, is a subarea within the consolidated community of Qazipora Patushi in the Bandipora district of Indian administered Kashmir. Situated 4 km from Bandipora town and 59 km from Srinagar, the name "Patushay" derives from the Kashmiri words "Poàt" (antiquity) and "Shay" (historical site).^[9]
