Mary Shortall

Mary Shortall (born October 24, 1958) is a Canadian politician and labour activist who was elected as president of the New Democratic Party in 2023.^[1][2] She also ran as the candidate for St. John's East in the 2021 federal election and for Gander—Grand Falls in the 1997 federal election.^[3][4]
