Malpar is a village and a gram panchayat in Rewa district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is about 4 kilometers from Teonthar.The first Sarpanch of the formation of Madhya Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act was Hon. Premchandra Shukla Ji (1994-2000). Shri shukla was an influential Congress leader of Mandal Tyonthar and was Mandal President for many years. Shri Shukla has three sons. Eng. Shyamacharan Shukla, Vidyacharan Shukla and Sabyasanchi Shukla. Shri Sabyasanchi Shukla is currently active in politics.

The village is located at a distance of 2.8 kilometers from the town of Teonthar. It is 80 kilometers from district headquarters in Rewa and about 60 kilometers from Prayagraj. The village is situated on the banks of Tamsa River.
