Freya officially started as a trainee member in Academy Class B on September 29, 2018. However, on October 25, 2018, she did not pass the initial stage of the Class B Academy Exam. As time went by, she was eventually promoted to Academy Class A on December 18, 2018.[8][9] She also participated in the JKT48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo in 2018, but did not rank in the top 32.[8]
