Blackish grass mouse

The blackish grass mouse (Thaptomys nigrita) also formerly called the ebony akodont, is a rodent species from South America. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. It is the only species in the genus Thaptomys.^[2]
