Bigyromonada

Bigyromonada is a recently described non-photosynthetic lineage of stramenopiles that at present contains two classes.^[2][3][4]

Description

Bigyromonads are characterized by biciliate cells that feed on bacteria through phagotrophy. They are marine organisms.^[2]
