Othman al-Ghanmi

Othman al-Ghanmi (born 1958) is a former general in the Iraqi Army and its chief of staff from 2015 to 2020,[1][2] as well as the Minister of Interior during 2020-2022. On 27 July 2019, he received the Legion of Merit from the United States Armed Forces and became first Republic of Iraq citizen to receive this award.
