Abdul Amir Al-Shammari (born 1967 - Diwaniyah) is an Iraqi army officer with the rank of General, who serves as the Minister of Interior in the government of Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani. He previously held the position of Deputy Chief of Joint Operations in Iraq from June 7, 2020 until October 27, 2022, and worked as a military inspector for the Ministry of Defence, and was appointed as a security supervisor for Nineveh Governorate on August 15, 2017, and before that, he was the commander of Baghdad operations.
