Hosted by Ryan Bang and Kim Chiu, the show featured 62 contestants (known as Dream Chasers) compete to be part of a seven-piece boy band that will be trained and debut in South Korea as a global P-pop group. The show employed a panel of mentors from both the Philippines and South Korea who train and critique the contestants.
The show concluded on February 12, 2023, where Jeromy Batac, Marcus Cabais, Kyler Chua, Vinci Malizon, Reyster Yton, Kim Ng and Winston Pineda formed the group Hori7on.
Dream Maker is the second reality show produced by ABS-CBN to spawn a boy band, following Pinoy Boyband Superstar in 2016, which formed BoyBandPH.[2]
