Abdul Rahman Ayob

Abdul Rahman bin Ayob (born 2 December 1964 in Johor Bahru, Johor) is a Malaysian admiral who serves as 18th Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy.[1][2]
In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Ayob is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Abdul Rahman. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
