1925年氦气法案（50 USC § 161）是美国为保护、勘探和采购氦气而起草的一项法案。该法案授权征用、租赁或购买具有生产氦气潜力的土地。该法令同时禁止出口氦气，但美国在当时是几乎唯一的氦气来源，这迫使外国飞艇使用氢气而非氦气以提供升力。 该法案授权美国内政部和美国矿业局对升力气体升力气体的实验、生产、提纯和研究进行管辖。该法案的通过为建立联邦氦气储备库提供了权力。[1]
