保羅·普雷斯頓

保羅·普雷斯頓（英語：Paul Preston，1946年7月21日—）是英國歷史學家，教授，主要研究西班牙內戰史。

生平

1946年出生。本科就讀於牛津大學奧里爾學院，後進入雷丁大學攻讀歐洲史碩士學位，曾擔任講師職務。後又在奧里爾學院攻讀博士學位。20世紀60年代首次前往西班牙。他還編撰了佛朗哥、胡安·卡洛斯一世國王以及西班牙共產黨領袖聖地牙哥·卡里略的傳記^[1]。1991年成為倫敦政治經濟學院國際歷史教授^[2]。
