嗜酸性 (生物)

嗜酸性是指可以在高酸環境下（通常在pH 5.0 或以下^[1] ）下茁壯成長的生物。有些生物如古菌、細菌、 ^[2]和真核生物、鹽桿菌科^[3]、酸桿菌門^[4]、酸硫桿菌目、硫杆狀菌屬、醋桿菌屬、脂環酸芽孢桿菌屬^[5]都屬於嗜酸性生物。
