六穀是中國古代的六種主要穀物，最早見於《周禮》「膳夫」。《呂氏春秋》「審時篇」記載了禾（稷）、黍（黍米）、稻、麻（大麻）、菽（大豆）、麥六種穀物。《三字經》中，將稻、粱、菽、麥、黍、稷並成為六穀，其中，小麥並非中國原生作物，粱和稷一般認為是指不同品種的粟。
