保祿六世

教宗聖保祿六世（拉丁語：Sanctus Paulus PP. VI；1897年9月26日—1978年8月6日），本名若翰·巴蒂斯塔·恩里科·安東尼奧·瑪利亞·蒙蒂尼（義大利語：Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini），1963年6月21日到1978年8月6日擔任教宗。

生平

喬瓦尼·蒙蒂尼樞機時期牧徽

生於義大利布雷西亞，1920年晉鐸。1923年至羅馬教廷任職，被派往聖座駐華沙使館工作。1933年任職於聖座國務院。1954年出任米蘭總教區總主教。1958年晉升樞機。1963年6月當選教宗，教宗加冕禮於當月30日在梵蒂岡舉行。

在長達15年的任期內，保祿六世積極參與國際事務，發揮了獨特而廣泛的作用，他推動基督信徒大公合一的對話，並開啟了羅馬教宗國際牧靈訪問旅行的先例。教宗保祿六世繼承若望二十三世的遺志，領導天主教會繼續進行梵二大公會議並實踐大公會議的指示。由於保祿六世親赴聖地朝聖、出訪肯亞和哥倫比亞以及作為首位在聯合國發表談話的教宗，因而成了一位世界性和國際性的人物。通過他的《耶穌的教會（英語：Ecclesiam Suam）》通諭的教導，天主教會得以與世人對話，而他的《人類發展（英語：Populorum progressio）》通諭，探討了世界上經濟社會全球化的重大問題。這一系列的事，都令保祿六世在教宗任期中的行動具有特色，並成為榜樣。

保祿六世在1970年12月4日短暫訪問英屬香港，並立即在政府大球場主持彌撒，他是迄今為止唯一一位訪問過該地的教宗。

1978年8月6日下午，保祿六世因心臟病發作在甘多爾福堡夏宮去世，享年80歲。100多個國家的代表出席了他的葬禮。

梵蒂岡第二屆大公會議於保祿六世任內結束。

封聖

2018年3月7日，梵蒂岡宣布教宗方濟各已確認保祿六世的第二項神蹟，達到可獲封聖的門檻。^[2]5月20日，教宗方濟各宣佈將保祿六世冊封為聖人。^[3]10月14日，在梵蒂岡聖伯多祿廣場舉行封聖禮，由教宗方濟各主持。^[4]
