布里尔

布里尔（bril）是一个心理物理学上的明度单位。

布里尔定义为在亮度一微朗伯的区域，适应黑暗的眼睛可以接受到的明度^[1]^[2]^{[注 1]}。

人感受到的明度和物体表面的亮度不是成正比，像古斯塔夫·费希纳提出的韦伯-费希纳定理及斯坦利·史密斯·史蒂文斯（英语：Stanley Smith Stevens）提出的斯蒂文斯幂律（英语：Stevens' power law）一様。

因为眼睛在不同的亮度会调整其对光的灵敏度，因此感受到的明度会和眼睛光适应（英语：Adaptation (eye)）有关。
