大面颊兽

大面颊兽是更新世澳洲已灭绝的袋犀属（学名：Zygomaturus）动物。牠们的身体很重，脚厚，相信与现今的倭河马相似。^[1]牠们是四足行走的。^[1]牠们栖息在潮湿的澳洲海岸，于4.5万年前消失。^[1]牠们也有沿河流向内陆扩展。^[1]牠们可能是独自或以小群生活。大面颊兽可能吃芦苇及莎草科，并以其下门齿将食物铲入口内。^[1]
