压实

压实（英语：compaction）是指沉积物由于载荷压力的影响而逐渐失去其孔隙度的过程。

这也是石化过程的一部分。当沉积物最初沉积时，它的颗粒框架是开放性的，孔隙空间通常充满水。

随着更多的沉积物在上方沉积，所承受的载荷压力增加，导致孔隙率降低，主要是通过更有效的颗粒堆积和压力溶解^[1]。

沉积物的初始孔隙度取决于其岩性。泥岩的孔隙度大于 60%，砂岩通常约为 40%，碳酸盐有时高达 70%。

油气勘探井的资料有明显的孔隙度随深度降低的趋势。压实趋势的估计可用于分析盆地演化（例如，沉降）和评估油气藏^[2].
