〈Vibeology〉是从宝拉·阿巴杜第二张个人专辑《意乱情迷》（英语：Spellbound）推出的第四首单曲，前三首单曲分别为〈Rush Rush〉（5周冠军）、〈The Promise of a New Day〉（1周冠军）和〈Blowing Kisses in the Wind〉（第6名）。〈Vibeology〉是一首融合浩室和放克味道的流行舞曲，节奏强劲段落分明，只是这首后现代风格强烈的舞曲过于前卫，并非当时市场主流，且宝拉·阿巴杜在歌曲中恣意鬼吼鬼叫的呈现方式，并不讨歌迷喜爱[2][3]。
〈Vibeology〉先于1991年11月在英国发行，在英国单曲榜最高成绩为第19名。1992年1月才于美国推出单曲，1月18日进入告示牌单曲榜，首周成绩为第65名，这首单曲在2月8日起在第16名连续停留三周，名次始终无法再向上攀升，中断了宝拉·阿巴杜在单曲榜缔造连续第九首TOP 10单曲的纪录[4][5][6]。
