金森博雄(日语:金森 博雄,かなもり ひろお,1936年10月17日—),日裔美国地震学家,他对于地震的物理学和造成地震板块运动作出了根本上的贡献。
研究
金森博雄和美国地震学家汤马斯·汉克斯发展出更能直接反应地震过程物理性质的矩震级,并在大规模地震时取代里氏地震震级[2][3]。昭和三陆地震的矩震级即由金森博雄推算,并被美国地质调查局认可[4][5]。
