爱德华·埃文·埃文斯-普里查德

爱德华·埃文·埃文斯-普里查德爵士（英语：Sir Edward Evan Evans-Pritchard，1902年9月21日—1973年9月11日），英国人类学家，他结合结构功能主义以及自身在东非的民族志纪录，对努尔人与阿赞德人（英语：Azande people）的亲属制度与巫术重新整理，进而重新开启西方文化重新诠释原始社会的理解。

生平

爱德华·埃文·埃文斯-普里查德生于1902年的克罗伯勒，父亲约翰·伊凡-普理查（John Evans-Pritchard）是圣公会的牧师。爱德华在家中排行老二，并以母亲多罗西娅·爱德华（Dorothea Edward）之姓为名。

1916年埃文斯-普里查德进入温切斯特公学接受中学教育，并于1921年就读牛津大学埃克塞特学院。
