短金枪鱼

短金枪鱼（学名：Thunnus obesus），俗称大目金枪鱼，又叫短墩、大目串、大眼金枪鱼，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲭亚目鲭科的其中一种，被IUCN列为次级保育类动物，分布于全球热带至亚热带海域，栖息深度可达250米，体长可达250公分。为大洋性洄游鱼类，属肉食性，以鱼类、头足类等为食，是可食用的鱼类之一，在日本，常做成生鱼片。参见金枪鱼。

台湾与短金枪鱼

台湾有许多远洋渔船捕捉此鱼，年产量十万公吨，主要外销日本。2005年11月大西洋金枪鱼类保育委员会指责台湾捕鱼量超过配额、使用“洗鱼”手段。该会以此为由删减台湾在大西洋捕捉此鱼之配额，由一万四千九百吨降到四千六百吨。
