皮埃尔·洛蒂

皮埃尔·洛蒂（Pierre Loti，1850年1月14日—1923年6月10日），又译毕尔·罗逖，本名朱利安·维奥（Julien Viaud），法国小说家和海军军官，出生于罗什福尔，著有《冰岛渔夫》 、《拉曼邱的恋爱》、《菊夫人》等书。他的作品极富异国情调，在当代非常受到欢迎。于海军服役时，曾到过近东和远东，这些经验，为他的作品提供了丰富的资源。

生平

1885年和1900～1901年曾二度访问日本，1885年访日时曾参加鹿鸣馆的派对，以当时的见闻写下“江户的舞会”（收录在短编集‘秋天的日本’），给芥川龙之介的短编小说‘舞会’带来灵感。1900年八国联军进占北京时，作为海军上尉的他亦来到北京，曾记述来京见闻，成《在北京最后的日子》（Les derniers jours de Pékin）。

轶事

皮埃尔·洛蒂曾到访过伊斯坦布尔，并与当地的一位女孩相恋。相传他们曾在山上的露天咖啡馆一起品尝土耳其咖啡。然而这段恋情始终无法开花结果，后来皮埃尔·洛蒂回到法国，但始终无法忘记那位女孩。十年后，皮埃尔·洛蒂回到伊斯坦布尔，企图找回那位女孩。可惜，皮埃尔·洛蒂得悉那位女孩早已离开人世。现在，那间咖啡馆依然在营业，不仅成了旅游景点，更是当地情侣的谈心圣地，美丽景致加上动人故事，至今依然吸引不少旅客。^[1]

日本小说家芥川龙之介曾有一短篇〈舞会〉，描写皮埃尔·洛蒂到长崎时，和年轻貌美的日本少女明子在舞会中邂逅的故事，但年老后的明子仍不知，当年邀她跳舞的法国军官，正是皮埃尔·洛蒂。而《菊夫人》一书，是皮埃尔·洛蒂以长崎体验为背景所写成的。^[2]
