这是一颗恒星分类为K0III，为演化的K型巨星[3]。根据1997年的月掩星观测，在21mas的角距离处发现了一颗伴星。它似乎是一颗A型主序星，类型约为A5。这颗伴星在之前的月掩星中没有被发现[8]。
