生平
1946年6月22日生於拉合爾。曾在西德取得塑料工藝技術文憑，並在美國加利福尼亞州獲得運營管理學碩士學位[2]。1990年加入巴基斯坦人民黨，初入政壇。1993年在古傑拉特縣當選國會議員，同時擔任商務部長。2008年至2012年擔任國防部長。2020年11月25日逝世[3]。
