生平
曾廣銓是曾國藩次子曾紀鴻之子，後過繼給曾國藩長子曾紀澤為嗣。早年，曾廣銓隨曾紀澤（出使英國欽差大臣）在英國多年，曾任駐英國使署參贊。後來，曾廣銓曾任出使韓國欽差大臣，任內提出「興學」、「保商」。曾廣銓精通外語，並且是十分活躍的報人。辛亥革命時，曾廣銓去職回鄉。[1]
1940年，曾廣銓逝世。[1]

《三千年豔屍記》是林紓、曾宗鞏1910年合譯，但早在1898年5月《時務報》第60—69冊上刊載曾廣銓譯為《長生術》，作者被譯為「解佳」，也就是亨利·萊特·哈葛德小說《她》（SHE）。[2]
