傑森·瑪耶茲

傑森·湯瑪士·瑪耶茲（英語：Jason Thomas Mraz，國際音標：/ˈdʒeɪsən məˈræz/；1977年6月23日—），是一名美國創作歌手，從小在維珍尼亞州列治文郊區的梅卡尼克斯維爾長大。2008年在專輯活出自我（英語：We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things）中的第二首單曲《我是你的（英語：I'm Yours (Jason Mraz song)）》是他最著名的歌曲，在美國告示牌百大單曲榜（Billboard Hot 100）停留76週。截至2013年1月，它是有史以來銷量排名第十的歌曲，在美國下載量已超過600萬次^[1]。在51屆葛萊美入圍了年度最佳單曲（英語：Grammy Award for Song of the Year）^[2]及最佳流行男歌手（英語：Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance）。他也是位崇尚生食的素食主義者。

出生和所作

傑森·瑪耶茲出生於美國維珍尼亞州列治文。畢業於位於維吉尼亞州梅卡尼克斯維爾（英語：Mechanicsville）的Lee-Davis高中，之後在朗伍德大學學習了一小段時間。後來他到了位於紐約市的美國音樂戲劇學院（英語：American Musical and Dramatic Academy）學習音樂劇。

在紐約唸大學期間，他以結他創作歌曲，畢業之後更跑到聖地亞哥當起街頭藝人。在這段時期，傑森·瑪耶茲和自稱是靈媒的流浪漢成為心靈夥伴，他也開始四處流浪探索人生。在這過程當中，傑森遇到他的貴人：知名音樂人鼓手Toca Rivera。兩人一同演出的現場表演紀錄，當時在美國網絡間廣為流傳。

2002年，傑森·瑪耶茲順利獲得唱片合約，推出首張專輯【Waiting For My Rocket To Come】，專輯一推出隨即獲得全美熱門潛力榜亞軍，並獲得了白金銷售認證，當中的《The Remedy (I Won't Worry) 》、《You and I Both》也都成為傳唱度極高的單曲。2005年發行第二張原創大碟【Mr. A-Z】，立即空降美國告示牌（Billboard）首五名位置，而傑森·瑪耶茲擅長把玩文字的創意，也在這張專輯裏充分的發揮。

在發行兩張專輯、參加無數現場表演以及一連串的宣傳行程之後，傑森利用一年的時間，讓自己回歸到一般生活裏。在回歸簡單生活的幾個月之後，讓他腦中充滿源源不絕的創作靈感，集結成他的第三張專輯【We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things】，這位被歌迷喻為「悠活才子」的歌手在第三張原創專輯中展現自我。

傑森·瑪耶茲於2014年6月30日到台灣參加第25屆金曲獎，擔任表演嘉賓與林俊傑共同演出。
