馬來語群

馬來語群是南島語系馬來-波利尼西亞語族下的一支,包含馬來西亞、印度尼西亞和汶萊的官方語言馬來語,西蘇門答臘省的米南佳保語,西婆羅洲的伊班語。[1]
馬來語群的起源地在西婆羅洲,現今伊班語所在的地方。然後馬來語群的分支可能來自蘇門答臘中部但也可能來自婆羅洲。[2]
以前曾對達雅族的各種達雅語定位出現混亂,有些現在認為屬於馬來語群有些則不是。屬於馬來的達雅語包括伊班語,這類伊班有時指整個Sea Dayak人,有時則指其中的一小部分。其他達雅語言統稱Land Dayak語,分佈於加里曼丹的西北部,夾於伊班和馬來中間。[1]
語言
儘管班查語有六百萬的使用者,但通常被認為屬於「馬來族語言」[3],一份2008年的分析報告南島語系基礎詞彙數據庫[4]指出不能證實Banjar語屬於馬來語群。這份研究指出Banjar語只有80%的可能比起其他馬來-波利尼西亞語族,與馬來族語言或伊班語親近。研究表明,很明顯與馬來語群的語言不同。
有時,有些伊班語言也被單獨列入馬來語群。
