澄湖是一個位於中國江蘇省崑山市、蘇州市吳江區的湖泊，面積約為45平方千米，平均水深約為1.8米，蓄水量約為8000萬立方米[1]。清順治十八年鑄鐘刻有「天寶元年地陷成湖」，所以稱作沉湖，後變為澄湖，為古太湖的遺蹟，屬於潟湖[2]。
