Kam-chià (ha̍k-miâ: Saccharum) sī pau-hâm 6~37 chióng chéng ê chháu-á (Poaceae), chū-pún seⁿ toà Kū Sè-kài khah sio-lo̍h ê un-tāi kap jia̍t-tāi tē-khu. In ū chho͘-ióng, hun chat ê ngē chháu-kó, hâm chē-chē thn̂g-hūn. 2~6 kong-chhioh koân. Só͘-ū ê kam-chià chéng lóng ē-tit sio-lām. Ū keng-chè kè-ta̍t ê chai-poê-chéng lóng sī ho̍k-cha̍p ê lām-chéng (hybrids).
