白肩鵰（學名：Aquila heliaca通稱皇鵰、帝鵰、御鵰，又稱為東方皇鵰、東方帝鵰及東方御鵰）與金雕非常類似，個頭略小，體長為80厘米，翼展為200厘米，屬於猛禽家族的鷹科。

白肩雕分佈在歐洲東南部、西亞和中亞。^[2]西班牙白肩雕，也被稱為西班牙帝雕（A. adalberti）一般生活在西班牙和葡萄牙，以前認為和白肩雕是一個物種，如今由於在形態學^[3]、生態學^[4]方面主觀地認為有異，而被人為地分成兩個不同的種類。^[5]^[6]^[7]

冬天，白肩鵰遷徙到非洲、印度和中國。^[2]歐洲，白肩雕是瀕危物種，在它曾經分佈的地方如匈牙利和奧地利幾近消失。^[2]如今歐洲只有潘諾尼亞平原地區白肩雕的數量在上升，主要在匈牙利北部的山區和斯洛伐克南部，其中匈牙利白肩雕的數量約為70-80對。

奧匈帝國的君主曾經將白肩雕選做紋章上的動物，但是並沒有對這種動物有所幫助。與其他雕不同的是，白肩雕喜歡棲息在小樹林的田野，而不喜歡生活在山脈、大型森林或樹木稀少的草原。

白肩鵰將巢築在樹上，周圍沒有其他樹木，因此這些巢在很遠處就可以看到，白肩雕也可以觀察周圍的情況。白肩鵰用樹枝築巢，加以草與羽毛。

每年3-4月，雌雕產2-3枚卵。孵化期為45天，通常只有一隻能存活下來，其餘在長成過程中死亡。

白肩鵰主要吃美洲黃鼠，也撲食齧齒目、貂屬、狐類等哺乳動物及鳥類。

亞種

白肩鵰指名亞種（學名：Aquila heliaca heliaca）。在中國大陸，分佈於新疆、遼寧、河北、河南、青海、陝西、甘肅、長江中下游、南至福建、廣東等地。該物種的模式產地在埃及。^[8]
