斯堪尼(又譯斯堪尼亞,瑞典語:Skåne)位於瑞典南部斯堪的納維亞半島最南端,為約塔蘭地區之一舊省。斯堪尼雖然面積僅占瑞典的3%,但總人口卻達到了1,247,338人[1],相當於瑞典總人口數13%的人口。

斯堪尼的火車軌道非常多,童話小說《尼爾斯騎鵝旅行記》的故事背景也設在斯堪尼。
「斯堪尼」(Skåne)一詞和「斯堪的納維亞」(Skandinavien)有着共同的詞源[2][3][4][5],作為斯堪的納維亞半島的最南端,斯堪尼在古羅馬時期被認為是一個島嶼。其名稱可能來自原始日耳曼語詞根 *Skaðin-awjo,在後世的古諾爾斯語中為 Skáney[6]。根據一些學者,這一日耳曼詞幹可重建為*Skaðan-,意思是「危險」或「傷害」(即是英語:scathing、德語:Schaden、瑞典語:skada 的詞源)[7]。斯堪尼的小鎮斯卡諾(Skanör)有着同樣的詞幹(skan)結合上詞綴 -ör, 意思是「沙洲」。
據估計,斯堪尼於1570年已經有約十一萬人居住。[11]
